Problems Anonymous Action Group (PAAG) is a private non-profit corporation chartered in 1971 conceived as a partnership between Weber Mental Health Center (now Weber Human Services) aimed at helping persistently mentally ill people and those with chronic substance abuse problems to help themselves.
HERNS
HERNS are behavioral tokens which can be exchanged for various items through the PAAG program. HERNS can be earned by completing admission chores, lunch chores, or other jobs in the PAAG Drop-In Center. HERNS can be redeemed at the PAAG Trading post for personal hygiene products, household cleaning supplies, and other specialty seasonal items. Weekly food orders can also be placed using HERNS.
Golden Hern Banquet
The PAAG Golden Hern Banquet is held annually to recognize an individual or
group of people that have gone above and beyond with their support of PAAG.
This award is fashioned after a PAAG Hern and is a small token to represent the
gratitude from the PAAG family. This award is given to wonderful individuals
that give of themselves to those in need of a hand up in life. The Golden Hern for
2023 was awarded to the Employees Community Fund of Boeing.
