ABOUT US
PAAG Creed
The Problems Anonymous Action Group is devoted to advancing human dignity by providing a meaningful involvement for people on the fringe of society. The goal is based on the assumption that all individuals, regardless of their race, color, creed, sex or previous history, have one or more areas of competence, which can be used for the good of society and the improvement of the individual. Our role is to change weakness to strength and to support abilities until each individual becomes a solid member of the PAAG subculture, a culture whose norms and values are congruent with the larger society and yet still personally rewarding. The PAAG philosophy unequivocally rejects labeling individuals and rejects the incarceration of people with non-criminal behavior problems. Any behavior may be normal or abnormal depending on its social context. This view furthers the dignity and personal liberty of the individual and fosters responsibility in the community. It is the conviction of PAAG that this creed will be vindicated by time and this philosophy shall endure.
